Anonymous asked: What are your feelings on pubic hair? Do you have any? Do you shave it all off? Wax it all off? Did you ever experiment with keeping some on? What's the most you ever had?
You guys and the sex questions! I’ve opened the can of worms now, haven’t I? Good thing it’s TMI Tuesday!
I’m cool with pubic hair - in fact, I prefer a well-groomed landing strip or patch more than fully clean shaven on most people. Especially guys.
For myself though, I shave and on a fairly regular basis - not because I find pubic hair disgusting, but because I have very sensitive skin and as soon as my hair gets more than about a quarter inch long (on my legs, or pubic area) I get massively itchy and can’t. Stop. Scratching. So I go clean shaven.
For the record, I’m really enjoying all these random questions you’re sending, Tumblr peeps! Keep ‘em coming; I’m working on getting some more pictures (and the Nerdgasm footage! I should have that tonight!) for you.
Anonymous asked: What do your labia look like? And do you like them? There seems to be kind of a stigma about labia, in terms of which type is the most visually pleasing.
Have you seen that art project titled (I believe) The Great Wall of Vagina? It was just a bunch of casts from various ladies vaginas, and I think that’s when I finally got over my hangup about what mine looks like.
I’m pretty lucky overall, my vulva is fairly self-contained and compact, but I have one inner labia which is longer than everything else and it likes to creep out past the outer labia. It really used to bother me when I was little. As it turns out, that’s actually fairly normal. Now I just make sure it’s all tucked up in there if I’m taking photos or art modelling (for symmetry’s sake) and I just leave it alone otherwise.
Also, chalk this up to the strangest question I’ve answered while waiting for glue to dry at work. ;)
Anonymous asked: Are you into comics or manga at all?
I’m much more into comics now than Manga - I finished a lot of the manga series that I was reading in my late teens and just never branched out further because I’m an awful person. (And between the ending of The Demon Ororon and Evangelion I needed a break.) Anyone have good ones to recommend?
After I discovered the Vertigo label of comics (particularly Sandman, which hit at a really poignant time in my life) I made the switch to reading a lot of comics. I haven’t been keeping up very well since DC rebooted the Universe though.
guy-in-a-hat asked: guy from the state you forgot how to spell, I tried the orange slices, and am currently snorting the remaining sugar off a mirror. what have you done to me?
YOU ARE FUCKING WELCOME GUY FROM MA WHICH I STILL FORGET. :D
Anonymous asked: what is the line between erotica and porn in your eyes? also, how has being nude all over the internet effected your life?
I don’t actually think that the line between porn and erotica is a hugely important one, because I don’t really like the stigma against porn. I like good porn. Good porn actors are talented, good people. Good on ‘em. Personally, I just draw the line at penetration and “pink” shots (such as where the labia are spread or the vulva is fully on display), just because I’m not terribly comfortable with doing it. As long as the person in question is comfortable with whatever they’re doing, then I’m happy that they’re willing to put it online, even if it’s not necessarily my thing.
I’ve definitely lost some friends over the whole being nude on the internet thing. Especially in one case of someone sending me a very choice e-mail in which they threw around terms like “cheap” and “not artistic anymore”. Which is fine, she’s welcome to her opinion. I just don’t believe it — so I don’t associate with her anymore. I’m much happier when people who are offended by things that I do go ahead and let me know, so I don’t have to waste any time on them, really, so win-win situation for me.
I’m also not very close to most of my extended family, though — probably because they’re pretty conservative, and wouldn’t necessarily enjoy knowing that I’m nude on the internet. If I was terribly concerned about what they thought, then I might have reconsidered the whole nude model thing to begin with. As it is, my immediate family knows and is generally supportive. My Mum actually asks to see new shots when she knows that I’ve done them, and my Dad just quietly overlooks the nude stuff and the burlesque and has a look at everything else.
Anonymous asked: Do you have/want any tattoos?
I have no tattoos at all, actually. I have a couple that I’ve wanted for a couple of years, but none that I’m willing to actually commit to right now. There’s a particular Nihilistic philosophical phrase which really speaks to me, which I’ve wanted tattoo’d on the inside of my bicep for a long time, but especially given a recent resurgence in popularity thanks to a particular pop culture item, I’m hesitant to get it actually tattoo’d on my body. I like the pop culture item it’s from, but not THAT much.
Anonymous asked: why you don't let your hair grow like the pictures with sito? that was stunning
On a day to day basis, I’m a pretty no-fuss person. I put a little bit of mascara on, make sure that my hair isn’t plastered-to-my-skull greasy, make sure I have pants on, and then I leave the house.
I’m also really, really awful at styling hair, so shorter hair is a lot easier for my life, which does not generally include people waiting to style me, unfortunately.
